In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, and traveling the world. One of my favorite books is “The Five People You Meet In Heaven”. My favorite line is “All endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time.” This line resonates with me, as I wasn’t always a photographer. My ending and my beginning started with me as a single mom just trying to make it. I was a substitute teacher and a mental health technician just trying to pay my way through college.
From a very early age I knew I loved photography and reading true stories. My teachers and professors told me I had a talent for writing. A bit of what most would call a “late bloomer”, I finally graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Writing and Rhetoric in hand, with no idea what to do with it.
I spent the last 8 years traveling the world, having been to Morocco, Costa Rica, Italy, Scotland, Switzerland, Alaska, Canada, and England just to name a few. Along my journey I not only found myself, but met the love of my life, my husband.
We had an intimate wedding on the Cliffs of Moher, in Ireland. It was shortly after my own wedding that I realized I wanted to be a part of capturing love stories for other couples. Inspired by my desire to capture love stories through my photography, True Life Photography was created.
My favorite book of all time, “The Alchemist” By Paulo Coelho, states “And when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it”. As the universe may have it, I’ve been able to combine all my passions as a wedding photographer. My greatest joy is capturing your love story. “A picture is truly worth a thousand words.” I believe in filling your life with experiences, not things. Having stories to tell and not stuff to show.
My wedding photography style is romantic, bright with just the right amount of moody. I believe in delivering beautiful work at an affordable rate; take that extra money and go on an epic honeymoon. If you’re interested in working with me, reach out to me. I look forward to capturing your love story and being a part of your journey.
